General Discussion / Much reduced Bluetooth reliabilty with new version

Now takes three or four attempts to get it going and it breaks about one game in three
Not a lot of pleasure in playing now

Playing other than lowest when all dummy's cards are better is something I have seen in 4.08 and i have a .pbn file
Simply discarding other than lowest is something I have seen but I am not sure it was 4.08, i again have a .pbn file

It plays in NT with nonsense declarer and nonsense score

Card play issues / Bluetooth -Can not auto both players

If you lose the bidding and South clicks auto then a robot plays on behalf of South but North's auto button is then disabled and she is forced to play manually

Thus if Brij1 gets a better score than the human players you can not get Brij to show how it did it

These are small niggles about what is basically a brilliant product

In fact both tablets are were using 3.13.2 and are showing default convention cards. You can not change the conventions under 3.13.2 but one of the tablets does have Pro on it

I will watch out for changing Brij2 results and let you know

Card play issues / Bluetooth - Different play on each tablet

When playing over Bluetooth the two games on the two tablets sometimes diverge and things get snarled up. This happens because of dfifferrent decisions by corresponding robots on the two tablets and happens quite a lot if the software versions on the two tablets are different.

I am absolutely certain of the fact that it occasionally happens when the software on both tablets is the same. This is possible if the robots sometimes make (pseudo) random decisions based on different pseudo random number streams.

Also, sometimes the Brij2 scores on the two tablets are dfferent.

Also, my playing partner has reported that sometimes the Brij2 scores change to different values after a few seconds

Card play issues / Wrong size cards in certain circumstance

If you set card size large then all cards to be touched are large
Except when you are playing over Bluetooth and North is declarer and you elect that both play independently as North then former South gets small North cards to touch, which is a bit of a pain
